                             Student Success Statement

"I wasn't trying to leave a legacy. I was trying to do what was right."

what i think about this quote is the he was just simply just wanting to do the right thing and trying to change peoples life for the better. he wasn't trying to be a legend he was trying to do the right. this also shows that if you choose the right there is high chance of you becoming a legend like Dean Smith did.
I also think Dean Smith is a great example of a role model of choosing the right. I think what made him special is that he did not do things to become famous or to impress he did it because it was the right thing to do. And that is prove that choosing the right leads you to a good future.

"educating the mind without educating the heart is no education at all."

                                                           -Aristotle

Reflection: If you only educate the mind, it doesn't really do anything, the mind forgets things. But if you take what is being taught to you to the heart and actually care about it, it'll stick with you forever. educating the heart and taking everything you learn to the heart is better then just learning and educating the mind.
