Abraham Lincoln

Abraham Lincoln keep the promise of his mom, when she was really sick before she died his mom told Abraham to promise her that he will never drink or use tobacco in his long living life. He keeps that promise through the rest of his life even though he had temptations of drinking and using tobacco. This is act of integrity, this can help us in our life’s because when you keep a promise people will be able to trust you and will want to be will with and it can also in your future. He had the power to always say no to drinking and tobacco. We should all try to be like Abraham Lincoln and say no to things that can harm us.

What this statement means to me is to make us understand what’s right, I feel that all the negativity we have towards each other should change. We need to do the right thing so everything can go well. For example, if you are told to do something and you have a partner who is not listening you need to keep doing the right thing and encourage them to do the right thing as well. You always have to choose the right.
