Home Health Aide

Duties and responsibilities:

They help patients get in and out of bed, take baths, and dress.  They also prepare and serve meals as well as perform housekeeping chores like making beds and cleaning rooms. Their duties include taking the blood pressure, temperature, and pulse of patients.

Salary:

$8,000 - $18,000

Education

Some vocational schools and community colleges offer training programs. Most employers prefer that nursing assistants and aides have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
