What I think that this quote means is that whatever you think you are going to be you should try your hardest to try to be. Always set a goal to become and you will become it if you try hard enough. For example if you see yourself failing at school then you will start to fail school. but if you see yourself becoming successful and graduating school with good grades you will if you are determined and really want to. Always see yourself as a greater person and you will become it.
